Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for purchases of GuardingPearSoftware products and subscriptions. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
1. Business-to-business sales
Our products and services are offered exclusively to businesses, entrepreneurs, and self-employed professionals (B2B) and are not offered to consumers. The statutory consumer right of withdrawal under EU law (the 14-day "Widerrufsrecht") applies only to consumers and therefore does not apply to purchases made through GuardingPearSoftware.
2. Digital licenses are non-refundable
Our products are digital software licenses that are delivered and made available immediately upon purchase (for example, when seats are added to your team or an invoice is redeemed). Because the licenses are delivered digitally and immediately, all sales are final and payments are generally non-refundable once the license has been delivered or redeemed.
3. Technical faults and discretionary refunds
If a product is materially defective or does not function substantially as described, please contact us so we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide a fix, replacement, or a refund at our discretion. Statutory warranty rights for businesses under German law remain unaffected. 4. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing settings in the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to the subscribed products until that date. Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, fees already paid for the current billing period are not refunded, and the subscription simply does not renew for the following period.
5. Taxes
We are a small business within the meaning of § 19 of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG). No German VAT is charged on our invoices (0% VAT).
